Takrut Hua Jai Khun Phaen Luang Pu Sawad

The Takrut Hua Jai Khun Phaen of Luang Phu Sawad, is now in the year of writing (2563 B.E.), an amulet immense rarity to see from what we love to call the Golden Age of modern Thai Buddhist Amulets (2535-2555 BE was an especially special time with an immense fervor for the magic of Thai Buddhist sorcerer monks, which is now seeing a new generation of devotees and collectors from the millennial era entering this wonderful niche, who will not remember this era, where monks like Luang Phu Sawad were among the top internationally known and preferred names, and a time when there were much less amulet makers than we see today, with the explosion of interest in Thai Occultism, Sak Yant Thai Temple Tattoos and Thai Amulets.

Takrut Hua Jai Pra Khun Phaen

The Takrut Hua Jai Khun Phaen is a Wicha, which belongs to High Sorcery (Wizardry), which Luang Phu Sawad received from one of his various Ruesi Kroo Ba Ajarn Mentors in Magic. The spell came from a Laoatian Ruesi Hermit, whose Wicha has become that of the Higher Adept Grade.

The Takrut Hua Jai Khun Phaen of Luang Phu Sawad grew very popular back in 2552 after its release, with many ladies and gay persons believing strongly in their successes coming from the help of this amulet. It is very small and easy to conceal, but also looks very pretty when worn as an accessory too. Since then, time has told its tale, and the Takrut Hua Jai Khun Phaen has successfully entered the annals of history as an all time classic and powerful amulet that has been time-tried-and-tested for well over a decade.

Takrut Hua Jai Khun Phaen LP Sawad

This sometimes can also be the cause of interest and the approach of a stranger, with questions about your amulet (what is that?). The Takrut uses the Lanna ‘Wicha Pitsamorn’ which is traditionally applied in the North, using the triple Takrut foils to imbue with three major blessings, and complete the spell according to the Dtamra Saiyasart Lanna.
Local Devotees like to call Luang Phu SawadPor Phu Ruesi’. This is because before he was a Monk, he was a practicing Ruesi practicing in the depths of the forest, residing in caves in Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmmar (then Burma). He travelled all over the place, collecting Wicha from various other practitioners (both Monks and Ruesi) who he met and exchanged magical arts with them, and mastered a great number of magic spells. Luang Phu Sawad needs little preamble for many Buddhists in South East Asia, such as Singapore and Malaysia, who know this Master very well and revere his amulets since decades.

Luang Phu Sawad, of Wat Kaset Sukh, in Payao

During his early years of practice, Luang Phu remained in the forest until he became adept in both Wicha Akom (magical arts) and Vipassana Kammathana practice. Amulets that are powerful do not only come from knowledge of magical arts and ritual. The practitioner must also have developed mind powers to bestow the amulet with empowerment, normally meditation ability of the Jhanic level is required to empower amulets, and it is Vipassana Kammathana method which is one of the major causes the Jhanic power to arise in a practitioner.

Then one day he found a very old monk whose Baramee and purity was sufficient to be his Kroo, and he ordained. After his ordination, he asked to be able to wander on Tudong. As he travelled, the local Folk were filled with faith in Luang Phu and they gathered money together to buy some land for Luang Phu to build a Samnak Songk (small forest Sangha temple). Luang Phu then saw that the words of his Ruesi Kroo in the forest were true, and that he was destined to become a Gaeji Ajarn. So he began to develop the place he had been given, until one day, it had become the temple of Wat Kaset Sukh that is visited by devotees from all around the Country and Foreign shores too. The visitors who come to pay respects and beseech blessings from LP Sawad are increasing in numbers almost daily, as the word spreads about the various stories of people who used his amulets and saw very quick results according to what they were wishing for.

Takrut Hua Jai Khun Phaen Luang Phu Sawad

In the parlance of the Western world, the High Sorcerer dons the mantle of a Wizard—a parallel to the esteemed title of ‘Por Phu Ruesi’ bestowed upon Thai hermit sorcerers who wield profound powers. These luminaries transcend the necromantic forces of ‘Jom Khamang Waet,’ which rely upon the might of the deceased, instead harnessing their own psychic attainments to empower their craft. Por Phu Ruesi, officially known as ‘Luang Phu Sawad,’ unquestionably embodies the essence of a Lanna Wizard, wielding the profound magic of ancient times.

Luang Por Sawad Wat Kaset Sukh Payao

Suffice to say that LP Sawad has fulfilled both requirements to be able to be called an Adept practitioner. He stayed many years in the forest until one day his Kroo Ruesi teacher told him that he should go and ordain as a monk; ‘You can ordain already, you can be an Ajarn now’ he was told. So Luang Phu travelled up to the North to find an Upachaya monk who would be good enough to ordain him. LP Sawad would use his Jhanic powers to examine each monk, for he said that if the monk who ordained did not have enough Baramee (greatness and merit), then it could cause that Ajarn to become ill and have inauspicious Karma (referring to someone less realized Ordaining someone more realized).

Luang Phu Sawad passed away on the 2nd Une 2014 (2557 BE), after building many improvements over the years at the temple, and extending the land by purchasing plots of land around the temple, to expand its facilities. Luang Phu was so diligent in this, that when the Looksit investigated the bank account of Luang Phu after his death, he was found to have only 50$ (1500 baht) in his personal possessio! This reflects what a selfless and non materialistic monk he was, despite having raised so many funds to develop the temple and many charitable public projects, he never used a penny of donations for even the tiniest personal benefit.

Pha Yant – Yantra Cloths

Pha Yant, are Sacred Geometric or Deity/Guru Monk/Buddha images imprinted with silk screen, or inscribed by hand, which contain religious worship images, and occult spells for wealth, health, attraction, success, protection, and other purposes. The designs are almost endless, and are popularly placed on the wall in a frame like a painting, for Bucha (Worship).

Animist Charms

Animism was predominant belief system in ancient Siam and is still very strongly believed in to this day, and highly practiced by the Lay Sorcerers of the various traditions, and the Northern Lanna Hilltribe people. Animism is found also in Brahman Hindu Belief System, which came to Siam before the Advent of Buddhism,, and Thai Buddhism has not omitted these beliefs from the cultural faith of Thai Buddhist People although some movements within the Thai Sangha do wish to separate Animism from Thai Buddhism).

Vihara Shrine of Luang Phu Rerm Baramo at Wat Juk Gacher

Some interesting facts about Wat Juk Gacher, and ex abbot Luang Phu Rerm Baramo, as well the other Abbots, and a look at some attractive Pra Khun Phaen 1st edition limited series amulets with meritorious motive of restoring the temple Shrineroom.

Panorama view of the temple of Wat Juk Gacher

Vihara Luang Por Rerm

Thailand Amulets’ owner Ajarn Spencer Littlewood recently paid a visit to the temple of Wat Juk gacher in Sri Racha, Chonburi Province, to pay reverence to the Great Luang Phu Rerm, deceased ex Abbot of the temple, whose amulets are famed and highly revered around the Nation, and to learn some more about this temple, and the lineage of Abbots up to the present day.

Of course the topic of amulets also came into focus, and Ajarn Spencer supported the temple by obtaining some of their amulets from the 2557 and 2558 BE editions, released by the current Abbot Pra Atigarn Jaleuk (Pra Ajarn Rung).

Ajarn Spencer entered one of the shrinerooms which had three landscape miniature replicas of the temple of Wat Juk Gacher, documenting the growth and development projects of the temple over the time in which the last 5 abbots lived, including the present Abbot, Pra Atigarn Jaleuk.

Ajarn Spencer made a video of this, along with a spontaneous Narrative, to explain what the models represent, and posted it to his Vlog on Youtube. So here it is to enjoy.

The name of the temple of Wat Juk Gracher, is also the only temple with this name in the country. This is because of an olden days folklore of a place in the forest in what is now known as Bang Lamung (Chonburi), there was a place where woodcutters and hunters and other people who lived in the forests would have some huts, which was known as ‘Juk Gacher’. The word ‘Gacher’ comes from ancient Khmer, and means ‘Tree’.

Wat Juk Gacher Sri Racha Chonburi

There is something about the temple of Wat Juk Gacher, that is told by the faithful devotees of Luang Por Rerm, which is indicative of Luang Por Rerm’s great purity of practice as a Monk, which recodrs that all of the abbots who stayed at Wat Juk Gacher before Luang Por Rerm, disrobed and left the Sangha.

Luang Phu Rerm Baramo - Wat Juk Gacher

It is said by believers, that only Luang Por Tong the original developer of the temple, Luang Por Khan and LP Rerm did not disrobe. Only Luang Por Rerm and Luang Por Khan and the succeeding Abbots remained until their deaths at the temple, but none of the preceding Abbots. The reason is said to be that the temple was built in a very haunted and wild area of forest, and that only a monk who was able to keep a high practice of purity would be able to survive the temple without disrobing.

Apart from the above video, Ajarn Spencer also brought us a selection of the amulets he had obtained with a donation to the temple, which we will be adding to store in the next days, and also are currently handing some out as free gifts to customers with their regular orders, which is something existing customers know we do with all orders (send something for free).

How to use See Pheung & Nam Man Prai oils

Pra Khun Phaen Taw Paya Pan Mia (‘Khun Phaen Lord of a Thousand Wives’) – Wicha BaChaDta; love, business, gambling and mercy charm from Luang Por Goy of Wat Khao Din Dtai, Buriram. The khun phaen uses the wicha ‘Ba-Cha-Dta’, and the power of prai kumarn powders to empower a classic amulet in a classic edition that is into its third ever edition.

This is the final edition ever of Luang Por Goy’s now 3 time world famous kumarn ‘Gao Gote’ amulets, using the sacred prai powders and ashes of nine kumarn and kumaree. This edition is even more highly awaited and fast in depletion than the previous editions, due to the fact that it is the last ever edition which will be made using this muan sarn sacred powder, which is now completely depleted and no more available for further amulets to be made.

These khun phaen ‘Ba Cha Dta’, is indeed a khun phaen ‘Prai Kumarn’ too, for the nine kumarn powders used in its muan sarn, along with the immense maha sanaeh power of herbal muan sarn, and rich in metta and prai oils.

The front face of the amulet features khun phaen surrounded by his many wives, with his kumarn child on his lap. They all embrace in harmony with love and happiness, and khun phaen is wealthy and prosperous enough to feed his large family.

Luang Por Goy’s powerful sacred powder is visibly his, and recongnizable as that used in the previous editions. This is truly a sign of constancy and true wicha to see the muan sarn of the amulets emerge with such similarity in consistency, aroma and texture, that the composition is rigidly adherent to the strict magical formulas of ancient Khmer necromantic sorcery.

The rear face features ‘Ba Cha Dta’ devas (‘In Koo embracing lovers’), in Kama Sutra posture, lovingly embracing each other, entwined in passion.

The base of each amulet has the edition code and limited number code stamped into them.

Khun phaen ‘Taw Paya Pan Mia’ is the product of the decades of experience of khun phaen empowerment using ‘Ba Cha Dta’ wicha, that has left Luang Por Goy at the pinnacle of his magical trajectory, and is now at its most powerful. This wicha ‘Taw Paya Pan Mia’ is born of the experience made from the making of Luang Por Goy’s famous khun phaen ‘Nang Rum Rak Ba Cha Dta’ amulets, which was the most powerful and famous khun phaen of its era, that produced so many success stories and satisfied so many devotees in their expectations. The amulets of Luang Por Goy, especially his khun phaen, are of high repute for attracting lovers and for good commerce.

Because so many devotees begged always for a new edition, Luang Por Goy accepted the challenge to make an even more powerful ‘Ba Cha Dta’ type khun phaen using all of his experience to date, and using his most powerful muan sarn sacred ingredients for their composition.

Muan Sarn (Sacred Powders)

In addition to the now famously coveted kumarn ‘Gao Gote’ powders used in the muan sarn, the following sacred herbs and other ingredients were also included in the formula:

Pong Mai Gai Gug (‘Gai Gug’ tree powders); ‘Gai Gug’ refers to Pra Gagusanto, the first of the five Buddhas of this aeon often indeed seen sitting with a cockerel; the words gai gug, meaning ‘clucking cockerel’.

Pong Ga Fak Marum; A sacred herb known to increase commerce and sales, and bring prosperity.

Pong Ga Fak Rak Sorn Dtaay Prai; Powdered ‘Ga Fak’ entwined with ‘Rak Sorn’ flower tree that died as a prai tree. Rak Sorn is a powerful maha sanaeh herb, and Ga Fak Rak is a love charm wood, the two of which, sometimes entwine together and exists as a symbiotic creature supporting each other, just like the ‘Ba-Cha-Dta’ and In Koo prai devas.

Pong Ga Fak Mayom; Powders of the ‘Ga Fak’ tree that was entwined with a ‘Mayom’ tree. Ga Fak Rak brings love, and ‘Mayom’ brings maha niyom merchy charm to the amulet.

Pong Wan Chang Pasom Khloeng; ‘Elephant mating’ herb, known for its aphrodisiac power to increase and incite desire of the sexual variety.

Pong Wan Kruea Thao Hlong ; A rare forest vine that entwines lovingly and loses its way in a very entangled manner throughout the branches and leaves of the tree; known for its power to enchant and cause to fall helplessly in love, lost on the path, fallen by the wayside, like an enchanted traveller who falls into a fairy circle.

Pong Ma Saep Nang;  ‘Lady entwined with a stallion’ – powerful prai herbal powder of the ‘Ma Saep Nang’ plant, that binds and enforces a love affair, and increases pleasure in the Kama Sutra practice, and sexual relations.

Pong Wan Nang Ok Dtaek; A sacred powder made from prai powders and herbal extract of the ‘Wan Nang Ok Dtaek’ plant. Nang ok dtaek means ‘broken hearted lady’, and is known for its power to convince and enchant even the most obstinate and unwilling of people, to fall for one’s charm, and eventually fall in love.

Pong Taep Ramjuan; ‘Dancing deva powders’ – pure enchantment for courtship, using the invocations of the dancing deva and the powders of the ‘Wan Taep Ramjuan’ herb, to incite excitement and loosen the fetters of shyness in the target when charming them into your heart.

Pong Gaesorn Dork Mai Tong; The pollens of the rare and sacred golden flower herb, that renders only one single golden flower per year, and is believed to be perhaps the most powerful maha sanaeh herb of all.

Pong Wan Khun Phaen; The ‘Khun Phaen herb’, that is so well known for its power to increase status and attract business and commerce, and charm both the same and the opposite sex into agreement.

All the muan sarn was ground together into one substance and given the invocations to transform it into the ‘Ba Cha Dta’ wicha powders, and then they were pressed into the form of the khun phaen ‘Taw Paya Pan Mia’ amulets. The amulets were made in different models (pim), with different grades. Pim B has 2 silver takrut inserts, and pim A ‘Ongk Kroo’ has 9 silver takrut inserts.

The rear face has an in koo ‘Piswaas Prai’ deva inserted which was smelted and cast from sacred yantra foils. The yantra foils contained amongst others, the following yantra:

  • Yant Ma Saep Nang; ‘Lady entwined with a Stallion’ spell (maha sanaeh magic)
  • Yant Hongs Ron; ‘Heavenly Swan on the Wander’ spell (enchantment magic)
  • Yant Hongs Tong; Golden Swan’ spell (pure maha sanaeh metta mahaniyom)

Luang Por Goy empowered his jhanic forces into the amulets using his best metta mahaniyom, maha sanaeh and maha piswaas magic to give the final edge to the amulets and lend them the extra power to assert their magic over any obstacles.

Useful sorcery for everything from charming your mate in life, to gambling, receiving mercy from superiors or in legal affairs, stop backstabbers by converting their hate into compassion, enchant others with convincing charming speech, and to increase popularity and promote professional and social status with the mercy charm within the amulets as an aid to smooth out the wrinkles in one’s life.

Luang Por empowered the amulets until he saw a nimitta of the khun phaen deva, and then took the amulets to immerse them in nam man prai ‘Tae Krua Naree Rampheung’, for the ‘traimas’ period (rainy trimester).

Pra Khun Phaen Marum Matum (Gammagarn ) Nuea Pong Mongkol Bad Tong, Nuea Pong Maha Sanaeh Ya Faed with Metta Maha Niyom powders

Made in the tradition of LP Chern’s famous Khun Phaen Marum Tum amulets, by LP Say Wat Nam Wijit, Sri Saket.

3 silver Takrut in the rear face and more Takruts in the base. Special sacred powders with immense power are within the Muan Sarn of this discreet but overwhelmingly powerful amulet. Those who are familiar with LP Say and Luang Por Chern’s Khun Phaen Marum Matum will need no explaining as to the power of this amulet.

His Amulets are the Object of Faith of Many Devotees around the world for the Grand results reported by a large number of Devotees. His Amulets are specially effective for Choke Lap, Siang Choke (Luck and Gambling, Lotteries), Metta Mahaniyom/Kaa Khaay (Increased Popularity, Promotion, Business expansion and sales), and Maha Sanaeh (Increase Passion and attraction, improve likeability and ease of influence upon others – win the hearts of others). Luang Por Say is known for his long term Afilliation and Friendship with the Great Luang Por Chern of Wat Ta Ee (Passed away 2547 BE).

Both of these Masters are Famous Internationally, along with their other close Colleague and Master Amulet maker, Luang Phu Rit (Wat Chonlapratan – Passed Away in 2548 BE consecutively). Only Luang Por Say of the Team of Three Masters remains with us to this Dat (September 2011)

Luang Por Chern was perhaps most famous for his Pra Khun Phaen Marum Matum amulets, which become so much in demand, but unfortunately too few were made indeed to fulfill the needs of all the devotees who wished for one. His amulets now go for prices reaching into the thousands of dollar range, and are so rare to find these days. Luang Por Say began to distribute amulets in about 2540 BE after decades of practicing Kammathana Vipassana, and Magical Empowerment. He made Sariga birds, Khun Phaen, Takrut, Mae Bper and many other kind of Amulets, and then decided to create another edition of Pra Khun Phaen Marum Matum Amulets for Metta Mahaniyom and Maha Sanaeh.

He has made them in the same creation and empowerment method used as taught in Luang Por Chern’s Dtamra/Wicha. Using the same Muan Sarn sacred Powders and Wan ingredients, and the same Incantations and Jhanic Skills were applied. Each time Luang Por Say made a new Incantation, he Invoked the Spirit of Luang Por Chern to attend and assist in the empowerment of the amulets. Funds raised from this range of amulets were assigned to the Project to finish building the Temple which LP Say is currently still in the process of Building.

This amulet comes without case, in the original box from the Temple.

2.8 x 4.0 Centimeters in Size

Sacred Takrut spells are inserted into the base of the amulet. LP Say is a Master of the one of the Founding Lineages of Khmer Adept Magic, who learned many Decades ago in the times of three Great Khmer Ajarns who were extremely Powerful in Saiyawet Spellcasting and Metta empowerment. They were Endowed with Great Psychic Ability, and Advanced Practitioners of Kammathana Vipassana and the Pra Waet Vedic Magical Grimoires.

Mr. Surayut Nam Chern, a Lay Master and Looksit of Luang Por Chern (Wat Ta Ee), donated a quantity of Sacred Powders from LP Chern to Luang Por Say for mixing into the Muan Sarn of these new edition Pra Khun Phaen Marum Tum.

Some other Muan Sarn Ingredients were;

Khun Phaen Pim Sadung Glab Talu Sum 2541 BE – Nuea Pong Ya Wasana Jinda Manee (case included) – Luang Phu Juea Biyawano – Wat Klang Bang Kaew (Nakorn Pathom)

Pra Khun Phaen – made with Ya Wasana Jinda Manee, most sacred and attractive of substances, endowing the wearer with immense charm and convincing power over others. Made and empowered by Luang Phu Juea Biyawano, of Wat Klang Bang Kaew (Nakorn Pathom). released in 2551 BE, the amulet is an incredibly beauful piece of Thai Buddhist Art with the extended slender features of the Buddha (for this amulet is indeed an image of Lord Buddha, and not of Pra Khun Phaen at all.

Pra Khunb Phaen wat Klang Bang Gaew

This is often the case with many amulets named after Khun Phaen. In fact, the original Ban Grang Khun Phaen amulets were also not a representation of Khun Phaen, rather was an image of Pra Putta Chinarat Buddha in Pitsanuloke, but due to the strong charm, metta and lucky powers of the amulet, it was named ‘Pra Khun Phaen’ for the fact it made people have many lovers, succeed in business, and also win in competition or war.

This amulet is made using the very powerful and rare substance ‘Ya Wasana Jinda Manee’ in the formula of the magical Wichas of Luang Phu Bun. Luang Phu Juea is one of Thailands leading amulet makers, known for effectiveness, his amulets have become a safe bet for the people of Nakorn Pathom province, with most people experiencing some form of improvement or success after obtaining one of Luang Phu Juea’s amulets for Bucha.

Khun Phaen LP Jua Wat Klang Bang Kaew (rear face)

Aesthetically, the amulet has extremely delicate finish to it considering its larger size, and the form of the Buddha  exudes elegance. The spire of the ‘Pragaes Mala’ (topknot) pierces the arch of the roof (‘Talu Sum’).

Luang Phu Jeua was the last Monk of a Lineage of three Great Masters in the same temple. The first of these was of course, Luang Phu Bun Khantachote, the second being Luang Por Perm Bunyawasano.  After the passing of the second Great master, Luang Por Perm, people thought that perhaps this was the end of the Lineage, but this is not the case, for the third Great master appeared, with the name ‘Luang Phu Juea Bpiyasilo’, the first apprentice of Luang Por Perm and the inheritor of the Wicha of Luang Phu Bun, through direct transmission from LP Perm himself.

 LP Juea

Since his passing away aged 84, on 29th December 2009, his amulets have become ever rarer and in demand from the masses of Looksit who follow this Master, in the Lineage of LP Bun and LP Perm.  His most sought after magical items are the Bia Gae, and amulets made from his Ya Wasana Jinda Manee, which he inherited from Luang Phu Bun through LP Perms teaching.
